Frankenstein's Monster

My favorite monster is Frankenstein's monster. I have an affinity for Frankenstein's monster because I believe that he actually posses a good soul but is driven to killing by society. The community is afraid of his looks and is automatically labeled as a "monster". Despite his intelligence, society shuns him and makes him feel unwanted. Frankenstein is such a lonely creature. All he wants is to be able to relate to others and be accepted into society.

Is this a nightmare?

That I will soon awaken from?

Or is this the reality that I must face?

The days are cold and long without a warm reprieve.

The birds have stopped singing,

And the flowers have stopped blooming.

As I face the harsh reality of death,

I look for hope in glass bottles and smoke filled rooms.
